Who’s lights burn bright into the night, but those with oil?
Linger still the wait of blows, three lamps full endured.
Fruit of blooded ground born of Wonder-working George.

Christopher suffered of torments;
Theonas gloried Christ as God;
Anthony with his brothers burned;
Still three lamps full light up the night.

A wonderful brief piece! Now, a prayer request. My daughter will be headed off to teach in Bogota, Colombia in July and I will then begin exploring returning to my monastic journey. I am not yet convinced that this is right for me, so I’d love to have your prayers.
